Background
The Therapists are highly experienced personnel. They are music graduates with a post graduate qualification in music therapy. The music Therapists are responsible to the Board of Trustees of EMTP. They receive regular support and supervision, both on a day-to-day basis and at a clinical level.

Amalia Brightman, Senior 1 Music Therapist
- MA music therapy in Special Education
- Presented a Case Study in the 10th World Congress of Music Therapy 2002 'Dialogue and Debate' Music Therapy in the 21st Century - A Contemporary Force for Change.
- Runs workshops and presentations about the benefits of individual and group music therapy in Special Education at venues’ for staff training and inset days.
- Offers Clinical Supervision

- Currently working with children and young people on the autistic spectrum as well as primary school children referred for social, emotional and behavioural reasons.
